Asbestos Abatement Technician, BC, AB.

Nucor Environmental Solutions Ltd. is looking for energetic, motivated and career-minded Asbestos abatement workers for demolition and abatement work on job sites throughout British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario.

Through the regular course of job duties, the abatement worker will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools, and various forms of machinery relating to the construction industry. Responsibilities will include the cleaning and preparation of work-sites, cleaning up rubble and debris, performing soft demo and removal of waste materials. Successful candidates must be able to safely lift 30-pound bags.

Requirements:
Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. Successful candidates must be clean-shaven. Individuals must have their own CSA-approved steel-toed boots, all other PPE is provided. All duties of the abatement labourer are to be performed according to NES’s operating procedures and OH&S Regulations in order to maximize the safety of all personnel at the worksite and to efficiently perform the task.

Abatement/construction experience is preferred, but training is provided and experience is not mandatory.
